Description
Kenya AA Arabica Beans: Kenya AA beans are the top tier of the rigorous Kenyan coffee grading system, from a total of eight possible grades available.
Peaberry Beans: Peaberries are the result of a natural mutation wherein a single bean grows inside a coffee cherry, rather than two twin beans. Some roasters and graders believe the smaller, denser peaberry bean packs more of a punch in terms of flavor and caffeine level.
Volcanic Soil: When volcanic ash breaks down and mixes with the land, the result is some of the world’s most fertile soil. Coffee plants in particular thrive in volcanic soil, and the abundant nutrients produce coffees with better aroma, flavor, and acidity.
Fair Trade: Trinity House Coffee guarantees farmers a fair price, good labor conditions, and environmentally sustainable conditions that protect farmers’ health and homes.
Shade Grown: Coffee plants flourish in the shade, protected by the canopy and nourished by the forest’s biodiversity. This growing method is best for the environment—and produces complex, better tasting beans too. Win/win.
Certified Organic: All our coffees are grown without use of pesticides or chemicals.
